1. Information We Collect

A. Account Data

  • Identity: Email address, User ID (assigned by Supabase Auth).
  • Profile: Full name (optional), username (optional), avatar image (optional).

B. Inventory Data

  • Items: Names, categories, purchase dates, prices, serial numbers, warranty details, and location within your home.
  • Media: Photos of your items and any documents (receipts, manuals) you upload.
  • Notes: Any additional text notes you add to items.

C. Service Data

  • Usage Metrics: Counts of AI Vision scans and Google Searches performed.
  • Membership: Your subscription tier (Free/Plus) and billing status (active/inactive).
  • Technical Logs: IP addresses and browser user-agent strings standardly logged by our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel).

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

A. Financial Data

  • No Credit Cards: We do not store or process your credit card numbers. All payments are securely handled by our third-party processor, Stripe. We only receive confirmation of payment status.

B. Sensitive Personal Data

  • No Biometrics: We do not collect FaceID, fingerprints, or other biometric identifiers.
  • No Precise Location: We do not track your device's GPS coordinates. Locations in your inventory (e.g., "Living Room") are manually entered text labels.
  • No Contact Lists: We do not access your phone's address book or contacts.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Core Service: To store and organize your home inventory.
  • AI Analysis: To extract product details from photos you upload (see "Third-Party Sharing").
  • Communication: To send important account updates (e.g., password resets).

4. Third-Party Sharing

We use trusted infrastructure providers to power HomeNog:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication.
  • OpenAI: AI Vision analysis. When you use "Auto-Capture", your image is sent to OpenAI.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.

5. Your Rights

  • Access: You can view all your stored data within the application dashboard.
  • Deletion ("Wipe Memory"): You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings menu. This is a hard delete that removes your user record from our authentication system.
  • Export: You can copy your data manually from the dashboard.
